My first post of the year 2012 is sharing with you my first
new year in Bintulu.
Lucky for us, we got free tickets to a new year count down
at LA Bistro Kemena Hotel. On arrival we were served with a free Heineken beer and a free
gift of one box Cadbury chockies. Cool gift! Food was a buffet spread conspiring
of different type of yummy food. However I pity those who come late and bought
the tickets…no top up in this restaurant.
We were entertained by a band who sang to us the whole night
long. There was a dance show and lucky draw too. Whoever sat inside were lucky.
Whoever sat outside must be contented with the heat of the evening and the loud
bashing of the band. We were lucky so you can guess where we sat! We got there early so we got a good seat by the side of the window facing the band.
How was the food? Previously the lamb chop was great but the service was very bad and slow even when there were only few customers. it took us nearly half an hour for the food to arrive, but.... the order was wrong and they refuse to change it so we just talked to the person in charge and endup waited for another half an hour
ReplyDeleteHi Desirous, the buffet spread during the new year eve celebration at Kemena Hotel look good but did not taste so great. I recommend that you try Hi5 restaurant's pizza if you like thin crust.
